Miguel Aleman

EAGLE COLLEGE

Eagle College started in 2007 with 55 students from preschool through 6th grade. It was born out of the prayers of two local pastors from Miguel Aleman and a group of individuals from West Michigan with a heart for Christian education.  The local Templo Belen Church helped get the school off the ground as they met in their modest facility.  However, the walls could not hold them and they soon were turning children away and found themselves in need of a school facility that they could call their own.  Construction began in 2010 and is nearing completion thanks to endless donations, volunteers, and prayers.

Eagle College is a private school located on the border town of Miguel Aleman, Tamp., Mexico and across the border from Roma, Texas. The school is in it's 6th year now and is highly acclaimed as one of the top schools in the state.  Along with the required curriculum, the students receive a knowledge of the English language and an education based on Biblical truths.  Many needs still remain to be met.  English speaking teachers are needed because of the large influx of students. There will be needs for school supplies and technology to enhance learning. Also, there are numerous projects to still be completed on the new campus.
